Even though I already had more than enough English vocabulary and had no problem to read in English, I fumbled at listening and speaking English when I arrived U.S. Neither could I follow my professors in class nor communicate with my roommates in dorm. Besides, nobody seemed to understand my English. I was frustrated of my inadequacy and vowed to become capable of communicating in English.
I grasp all the chances to talk in English in daytime and practice privately in front of my computer at night. Belows are my strategies and methods.
If you're in English environment:
4. Ask the right questions
If you're alone with a computer:
1. Find a short video on any topic you like
2. Make an English subtitle by listening to the video repeatedly
3. Imitate and repeat the video content loudly and record your own voice.
4. Memorize the video and make your voice as identical to the video as possible
1.Slow and stressed: the adjectives , nouns and the key points you want to express.
2.Fast and light : meaningless parts (be verb, that, adverb)
3.Put into group : Noun, adjective, and adverb clauses. Adverb phrase
