An excellent article could be best modeled as a tree. Just like a tree is made up of a trunk, larger branches, smaller branches and leaves, an article has main theme, developing paragraphs, sentences, and words.

To understand an article by analyzing it at different levels

1. Word level

2. Sentence level

3. Paragraph level

4. Article level

5. From word level to article level or the other way around.

In essence, people communicate to each other through languages. Therefore, the construction of languages should be subject to the essence of communication theory, clarity and conciseness, which we called rhetoric in language.
