It's not that every detail is given - that would be impossible, as well as to no purpose - but that all the significant.
This requires not that the writer make all sentences short, or avoid all detail and treat subjects only in outline, but that every word tell.
The solution to detecting when all chromosomes have been bound is solved not by a counting process which, apart from being difficult to implement, would run into problems as chromosome number changed over evolutionary time but by the silencing of "not bound yet" signals that emanate from kinetochores that have yet to be captured.
