Coming up- the unmasking of bottled waters. Consumers react to world that many of their pricey favors come straight from the tap.
U.S. has Some of the cleanest tap water in the world. Nevertheless many people come to depended on bottled water so much so it becomes a multi-billion dollars industry. Sure, it’s convenient, but many also believe that paying for water from not truly pure sources. As our ____ report, that’s often not the case.
Don’t let the cynical logo fool you. This water is not bottle from the mountain stream. Now PepsiCo plans to spell it out for consumers adding the words Public Water Source to the label of its awkward Aquafina brand. In the case you don’t know, Aquafina is actually just purified tape water.
A: that would make me never want to buy Aquafina again knowing that was just bottled public water, That is just tap water in bottle. That's just not cool. What I am paying for?
B: wow~
How that make you feel? Like I have been bamboo and cool wind all this time
In the statement on Friday, Aquafina said “if this helps clarify the fact that the water originates from public sources, then it’s a reasonable thing to do.” Coca cola Dasani does the same thing: purified in the bottle as the public drinking water
One of our environmental groups found at least 25 percents of bottled water is actually just tap water. Sometimes purified, sometimes not. We are now exposing the underbelly truth that is a big percentage of the bottled water in this country is tap water.
Brands like
Spring water, artesian well water, purified tap water. Not too long ago, it would seem a little waky to sell bottled water. But now, it become part of our culture. And sales of these bottles, rank second only to carbonated soft drinks. So unless saturated in this market. It’s increasingly important for you to know exactly what you are paying for.
